WHO ARE WE
In the wake of the societal mainstreaming of modern rock and metal in music, In The Red embraced their inner roots as musicians and cultivated an original sound with blends of heartfelt melodies and the belting screams of heavy metal. This blend has proven itself to be the balanced sound that lends itself to popular radio play as well as a cool, cult following of the true genre without compromising those very musical roots that are the building blocks of the band. After countless hours of writing, recording, and experimenting with various musicians for the band, In The Red has evolved, arrived and has taken the CT music scene by storm. With powerful lyrics, insanely killer beats, and shredding guitar, they have found the synergy in their group that is the perfect fit and here to stay.

"Vocalist, Cody Place enters the stage with a creepy mask, their mascot, subtly named “Mr. Creepy”. Just throw up your horns right now, because Cody is an ANIMAL on the stage! I broke a leg twice (in my mind) just watching him bounce around and tear up the stage. “Bad Apple” is melodic and heavy and Place will work the last heart string you have with his voice as it reaches down to the low growls and up the scale to his bewitching singing voice. Rizzo on guitar makes that beautiful thing sing. The whole band works together so well and gives it their all."

"In The Red is no stranger to the spotlight. Led vocally by Cody Place, the Webster Theater was now jumping and rocking out fully. Cody’s stage presence was certainly very notable. Add the guitar talent of Peter Rizzo behind him along with the others and the fans were treated to some amazing hits. They fed the crowd’s thirst with songs such as “Enemy” and “Giving In".
